Concepts & surfaces

Studio is one project seen through six surfaces. The screens below are the locked interface concepts, shown on the wordless demo short “The Forge.”

Paste a script or Fountain file. Breakdown splits it into beats and shots and pulls every character, location, and prop into a reference checklist — with the fal-vs-handoff plan decided per shot before you spend a cent.

Shots land as cells on a canvas — framing, camera, duration, and the anchors each one uses. Each cell generates in place: fal on Track A (seed-locked, cost shown), a Higgsfield handoff on Track B, with running spend in the dock. Studio owns the authoritative render and approval state for every cell.

Each principal — a character, location, style, or prop — becomes a seed-locked anchor the generator reuses on every shot. A continuity thread shows every shot each anchor appears in. This is the anti-drift heart: the face doesn’t change from shot one to shot forty.

Open a shot into a generation console — editable prompt, anchor-ref chips, engine picker, and locked seed on the left; a living preview and an A/B variants tray on the right. Pick the keeper; it lands on the board with its full provenance.

Per shot: the engine, model, seed, cost, and variant, with a running budget meter. fal rows are cost-tracked; Higgsfield handoff rows are marked manual. It’s the thing that lives in a spreadsheet today, native to the board — so change one input and Studio knows exactly what to re-render.

For web-only tools with no API, Studio shapes a per-shot prompt package — ref image, aspect, duration, camera move — you generate in Higgsfield or Flow, and drop the returned clip straight back onto the shot. Keep the tools you love; stop them being islands.

Approved shots stitch to a delivery master — correct framing for every platform (16:9, 9:16, 1:1), music bed and voiceover in place. FFmpeg export ships today; the groundwork film workflow shows how deliverables map back to the plan.
